I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences program at the University of Iowa. My research work is in non-convex continuous optimization with applications in Machine Learning and Operations Research. I like watching baseball & football and playing cricket. Hiking and sightseeing are my favorite pastimes.
I am a senior majoring in mathematics.
I am a third year doctoral student in the Applied Mathematics and Computational Science (AMCS) program at the University of Iowa. My current research involves modeling the use of autonomous vehicles in urban delivery. I am working under the advisement of Dr. Ann Campbell and Dr. Barrett Thomas in Management Sciences. I graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics/Finance from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
I am a third year Ph.D student in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science at the University of Iowa. I am a native of Kisumu Kenya. My current research is optimization with applications in Machine Learning under the supervision of Dr. David Stewart. My other interests include equity and diversity in Mathematics and mathematics education.
Hi! I'm a junior working toward degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as a Large Data Analysis Certificate. I'm also part of the Numerical, Parallel, and Optimization Algorithms group, supervised by Dr. Suely Oliveira and Dr. David Stewart. Finally, I am a research collaborator with the Metric Geometry and Gerrymandering Group of Tufts University, headed by Dr. Moon Duchin. I am passionate about mathematics, politics, equity, and the intersection of all three.
